The Most-Checked-Out Books of All Time (from NYPL)

The New York Public Library is celebrating its 125th birthday this year. Yay! To commemorate, they're sharing interesting articles and lists like this one. Want to know what are the most checked-out books of all time from the NYPL? Link is below.

I just have to say, this list does my heart good. In a time when nastiness, conflict, and angst seem more prevalent than decency, shared humanity, and love, it's nice to see a list that features so many books that promote positive, uplifting messages.

And #1! I must have read this book hundreds of times. It's heartwarming, innocent, and fun. Below the NYPL article, I've included an interesting one that gives a little history about The Snowy Day and Ezra Jack Keats.

I, and my kids, love it.

Here are also some pics from my two visits to the library in the last few years. A book-nerd's paradise!

We don't have this one! Just ordered :) Seems like a great gift for Saylor's first birthday!
